What are the sealing materials for vulcanizers?

The sealing requirements of the vulcanizer are better in sealing performance and prevent gas leakage. The seal of the vulcanizer has small frictional resistance, small wear, long service life, simple maintenance, easy replacement, low cost and easy manufacture.

Common sealing materials for vulcanizers are:

(1) Polyurethane rubber: It is a new type of rubber material widely used in various hydraulic cylinders at present and has been widely used.

(2) Oil-resistant rubber and cloth rubber: It is used most in nitrile rubber and has good elasticity. The vulcanizing machine often uses cloth rubber in the hydraulic press.

(3) Polyvinyl chloride (plastic): It has a certain strength, oil resistance, and low friction, but its elasticity is poor.
